The project aimed to raise awareness and understanding of the ways in which artists can influence the spirit of a place and engage with the environment. During the course of two terms, pupils participated in workshops that introduced ideas and ways of making art that were new to them. The process led to the creation of a site specific work using digital sounds and images. The finished work, presented in the school's listed barn, combining performance and multi screen projection, explored the contrasting rhythms of the school day, moving between manic and mellow, chaos and order. |
